Finally, Band Volunteer Roles that are Indoors!

If you prefer volunteer roles that are indoors, we have an opportunity for you! On Monday, September 28, Hayfield Secondary hosts the North Central Senior Regional Orchestra wind and percussion auditions. Hayfield band students frequently earn spots in this prestigious group. The Hayfield Band Boosters are assisting with the auditions over two short shifts. The shifts run 3:00 to 6:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:30 PM.

• Audition registration assistants will partner with band students to check in students as they arrive.

• Director hospitality assistants will help set up and maintain the director hospitality area, including food and beverages for directors and staff working at the audition.

Marching Hawks Week of September 21 Schedule

The Marching Hawks had a great day at the first marching band competition of the season this past weekend! The students performed well and brought home a Second Place Class 4A trophy along with caption awards for percussion and color guard. We have back-to-back Football Fridays coming up before we head to our second competition of the season in Annapolis, MD on October 3rd. Also, due to some non-marching band commitments, the rehearsal schedule is slightly altered.
