Marching Hawks 2026 Update

Marching Band is right around the corner! Check out the Marching Hawks 2026 Presentation for all the details, and complete the Marching Hawks 2025 Commitment Form! Key marching band dates in early May are:

Color Guard Clinics - May 5 and 6; 3:30-5:00pm

No experience necessary! Any student interested in joining the outdoor color guard for marching band is invited to attend!

Marching Hawks Leadership Clinics - May 5 and 6; 3:00- 4:00pm

All students interested in a leadership position should plan to attend both dates!

Marching Hawks Spring Training

May 13 and 14; 3:30-6:00pm

Rising 9-12 grade students, come check out music and movement in the marching arts, as well as fundamentals for marching percussion and color guard. Meet in the Hayfield Secondary School Band Room. Complete the Spring Training Participation Form to let know you’ll join us for these two easy, introductory afternoons.

Cinderella at Hayfield

We have many band students participating in the spring musical this year, both in the cast and in the pit orchestra. The final two performance are May 8th and May 9th at 7pm. Visit the Dramahawks site for details and tickets.

Parent Information and Band Booster Meeting May 4

Join us Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in-person for a parent information meeting and a meeting of the Hayfield Band Boosters! The meeting will be held in the band room (1524). Mr. Specketer anticipates sharing information about the 2026-2027 band class and marching band, which you won’t want to miss! Additionally, the booster organization plans to vote for board members for the 2026-2027 season. We’ll see you there!

Cinderella at Hayfield

Musical Performances May 1, 2, 8 & 9

Come out to Hayfield to enjoy Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! The musical features student performers from across the campus, including, of course, members of Hayfield bands playing in the pit orchestra. Tickets are available at hayfielddrama.com.

Indoor Percussion Captures Third at National Competition

Congratulations to the Hawks students and our friends from South County who won third place in their division at the WGI Percussion World Championships in Dayton! The South County Combined indoor percussion ensemble captured a spot on the podium among ensembles from around the nation!
