New Ways to Volunteer with the Marching Hawks
We’ve just released a new SignUpGenius with plenty of new ways to get involved with the Marching Hawks! In fact, we’ve got some chaperone slots at the first game tomorrow night! Get ‘em while they’re hot!
Here's a taste of the other needs throughout the season:
At home games, we need help with dinner set-up and clean-up before the show, snack donations for the students, uniform helpers to pass out (and later collect) uniforms and plumes, and bleacher/equipment crews to help move gear to the field and back.
For away games and competitions, we're looking for chaperones to ride the bus and stay with students in the stands, competition support to help load and unload the equipment truck, uniform support to keep everyone looking sharp, and even a truck driver to help get our gear where it needs to go.
We could also use a hand with special roles like our 8th Grade Parent Liaison for 8th Grade Night.
Whether you have a few hours for one game or want to become a regular at every competition, every bit of help makes a real difference for our students. Sign up for the slot(s) that work for your schedule here:

Thank you for supporting our students — we can't wait to have you cheering (and helping) alongside the band this season!

Marching Hawks Spirit Wear Store Is Open — Orders Due Friday, September 11
The 2026 Hayfield Band spirit wear store is live, and it's a fundraiser for the band program. This year’s parent tees, hoodies, crewnecks, quarter zips, flannels, sweatpants, caps, beanies, a stadium seat cushion, are all available, most with the Marching Hawks logo. You’ll look amazing in one of these shirts cheering for the Marching Hawks at this year’s games and contests!
Orders must be placed by Friday, September 11. This is a group order, so there are no late additions once the store closes.
How to order
Fill out the delivery ticket at the top of the page first. Enter the name on the PayPal or credit card account you'll pay with, your student's name, your phone number, and your email, then hit Submit. This is how your order gets matched to your student.
Then scroll down and shop. After each item you add, PayPal returns you to the store's home page — just re-enter the Spirit Wear store, skip the form, and keep scrolling. You only fill out the delivery ticket once.
Nothing ships to your house. All orders are processed together after the store closes and distributed through the Hayfield Band Boosters to students and families at the school.
Size charts are posted for every item — the fit varies between the unisex and ladies cuts, so it's worth a look before ordering.
