Hello Band Family!!
The 2025 Marching Band season starts with Band Camp July 29-Aug 9. September is busy with rehearsals, football games, competitions and fundraisers. October is when we are hitting our peak with more competitions, homecoming and parades. Marching Band ends when football season ends in early November. The winter brings us inside with Symphonic and Wind Ensemble concerts, assessment and more!
So how can you BOOST the BAND?
If you would like to be a part of the following committees, please reach out to the Board members.
Marching Band Uniforms (responsibilities include)
Take inventory of uniforms
Dry clean used uniforms before Tag Day
Fit Marching Band members with uniforms during Band Camp in Aug
Assist with sewing / fitting / repairing uniforms
Fundraising (responsibilities include)
Identify and present fundraising opportunities to Board members for approval at the beginning of the year
Organize and work with Board to get appropriate funding
Execute on approved fundraising opportunities
About the Boosters
The Hayfield Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing support for Hayfield’s band program. To advance and encourage our band program, we need continued support from every band parent, as well as those who appreciate instrumental music. Please join the Hayfield Band Boosters today and consider volunteering your time to help make this a great year for our kids!
Membership is free to join, but becoming a Band Patron will give you additional status. Band Patrons are gratefully acknowledged in each band concert program and on the Boosters' website (here!). Your contributions fund the additional expenses not covered by FCPS.
