Marching Hawks Itinerary - South County Invitational

UPDATED 9/22/23 for weather changes
2:00pm - Students arrive, move equipment to stadium for rehearsal (eat lunch BEFORE you arrive)
2:30pm - Rehearsal in HS Cafe
4:00pm - Rehearsal ends - load truck, hair/makeup, eat dinner, change into uniforms, etc.
5:45pm - Load buses
6:00pm - Depart Hayfield Secondary School
6:40pm - Arrive at South County High School, 8501 Silverbrook Rd., Lorton, VA 22079
7:10pm - Warm-up
8:15pm - Performance
8:30pm - Load buses, get concessions, load buses, depart
10:00pm - Arrive, Hayfield Secondary School - unload truck and buses, clean music wing
10:30pm - Dismiss, parents pick up students
What to Bring
- Dinner to eat before we load buses
- Instrument/equipment
- Black Marching Hawks 2023 t-shirt, long black socks, drillmasters, any other uniform essentials
- Money for pre-ordered food or on-site concessions

Students will communicate with parents regarding our departing time from South County. Please be prepared to pick up students once we have all equipment and uniforms stored.
